About SSFAID
Hello, my name is Jude Nyambi, I am a Social Entrepreneur and Founder of the Speakers Series for Africans In the Diaspora (SSFAID). SSFAID provides a platform for open dialogue pertaining to the development of Africa and the role Africans in the diaspora can play in accelerating and contributing to the continent’s growth. This initiative seeks to educate, inspire, and motivate African’s on its history, potential, and future. The Speaker Series is a quarterly event where thought leaders, innovators, influencers and experts from around the globe commune to exchange views on issues from socio-economic development to political progress occurring on the continent of Africa. In essence, SSFAID is a vehicle that brings all Africans and people of African descent together to exchange ideas, and perspectives on ways to accelerate Africa’s growth.

WHY SSFAID ?
Africa is the richest continent in terms of its resources, the largest continent in the world made up of 1.2 Billion people, yet it is the poorest, the least in socio-economic development, the least in infrastructural development, the most oppressed people of the word with almost no real democracy. In the same light almost, every African living out of the continent of Africa, has at least an idea on how to make a difference in the advancement of the people of Africa. The fundamental problem is that all these respective ideas are vibrating in isolation without a proper channel for coordinating and aligning actionable proposals and solutions for solving Africa’s so many issues. The Speakers Series for Africans In the Diaspora (SSFAID) sees herself as the vehicle or platform to bring all these respective voices together through various forms of communications and dialogue, to harmonize solutions and perusing its implementations for the much-needed change in the continent of Africa.
